Marketing Executive

Marketing executives contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns. Tasks typically involve:

1. Liaising and networking with a range of customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations.
   communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships.
2. Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press (local, regional, and specialist publications) or on the radio.
3. Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and e-newsletters and DVDs.
4. Liaising with designers and printers.
5. Organizing photo shoots.
6. Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials.
7. Maintaining and updating customer databases.
8. Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
9. Sourcing and securing sponsorship.
10. Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups.
11. Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies.

Required Experience: Final Cut Studio.
Desired Experience: AVID Media Composer 5.0, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Encore, Adobe Soundbooth

1. Scrubs footage for rough cuts adding transitions including wipes and dissolves.
2. Splices rough cuts together seamlessly adding J & L Cuts to maintain Time and Space continuity.
3. Ability to implement layer masks, compositing and garbage mattes.
4. Ensures that time and space continuity are congruent.
5. Prepares all audio including musical arrangement for final mix-down.
6. Finalizes DVD production and authoring.
7. Assembles rough cuts and export/Import EDL’s via Non-Linear Editor.
8. Performs color correction treatments and applies filters where needed.
9. Captures raw footage from tape to hard drive.
10. Files and organizes assets properly in editing software.
11. Transcodes video according to customer specifications using the appropriate video formats.
12. Animates titles and lower third composites.
13. Scores musical soundtrack and sync with video maintaining continuity.

1. Ensure continuity on location during shooting.
2. Captures raw footage from tape to hard drive.
3. Files and organizes assets properly in Project Manager.
4. Creates sequences in accordance to capture format.
5. Assembles rough cuts and exports EDL’s via Non-Linear Editor.
6. Finalizes DVD production and authoring.
7. Transcodes video according to customer specifications using the appropriate video formats.

Videographer

Experience: HDV, P1, HDCAM, XDCAM.

1. Maintains screen continuity by observing the 180 Degree rule and 45 degree rule.
2. Obtains A & B roll and cutaways.
3. Ensure continuity on location during shooting.
4. Obtains establishing shot, point of View shot, and Master Shots.
5. Ability to interpret and work from a shot list.
6. Ensures lighting, composition, framing are acute and artistic within guidelines.
7. Uses proper camera moves positioning, and zooming.
8. Captures self portraits of clients to be included in full portfolios.
9. Responsible for capturing clear and concise audio during interviews in addition to ambient sounds collection.
